What Time is It? TOOL TIME!

Last night, Tater Daddy was hanging a cabinet in his bathroom, and I’m going to be kind here and NOT tell you how long it took because the thing kept falling apart.  You know, because I’m sweet and supportive like that.  Plus, the thing was cheap, and I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact that Tater Daddy put it together without reading the enclosed instructions.  Allegedly, folks.  Allegedly.

As I tend to do, friends, I digress.

Tater Tot was fascinated by all of the banging and knocking that was going on in the bathroom, and once his Daddy’s cordless drill came out, Tater Tot came running into the den saying, “Mama, Mama!  Need my tools!  I need help Daddy!”

Yes, by all means.  Help Daddy!

We opened his toy box and there it was.  His little toolbox with his drill and a wrench.  (We lost the hammer a while back, and the screwdriver fell prey to the dogs within a day or so after Santa brought the set last Christmas.  Ah, such is life.)

Tater Tot hurried back to the bathroom to assist his Daddy.  Or in his words, “I fix it, Daddy.”

And here’s the final product.  Those two make a pretty good team.

Have a wonderful Thursday night!

Tater Tot’s little Parents’ Day Out is having a Grandparents’ Day program tomorrow, and his class is singing three songs.  We are all aflutter with excitement around here, as you can imagine.  I’ll have a full report sometime this weekend.  A class of fifteen two-year-olds.  Singing.  Oh, this ought to be good!

Until we meet again, y’all take care!
