He’s a Little Earthy

Sometimes you just want to be close to nature.  Or in this case, smack dab in the middle of it.

Sometimes you get a little too close to nature and find that there are these prickly things called thorns, especially when your Mama says, “Hey, don’t sit there.  Those rosebushes have prickly things called thorns.”

ouch

(It’s blurry because Tater Tot is getting up after discovering that, wonder of all wonders, his mama was telling him the truth.)

Sometimes, you have to take time to stop and smell the roses (that your Mama has de-thorned).

I wonder if you could have used the word thorn one more time? 🙂 The yard looks beautiful!

Well, the little fella knows what thorns are now. Bless it. 🙂

That first picture of Tater Tot is “pinch-my-cheeks” cute!

Your yard does look beautiful…and GREEN! I’m so envious of green…we’re just now getting a few hints of green up here in STL.

Well, thank you much for your sweet comments about the Tot’s cheeks. It looks like he’s going to have a round face, so we’ll be pinching cheeks for a long, long time. I have to admit, they are some kind of delicious. I’m not sure if you can tell, but when I took these pictures, he still had peanut butter around his mouth from eating apple slices with peanut butter. (heehee)

Y’all should be getting greener by the day up in St. Louis! Hang in there!

Beautiful pictures! Looks like you have some of those knockout roses too. I love those roses!

Those roses are unbelievable. We planted them last summer, and they’ve already doubled in size. I’m amazed that they’re blooming this early. Love ’em!
