Sick Days

Tater Tot woke up Monday with some sort of bug that I’m hoping the rest of us don’t catch.

Bless his heart.  This is how he spent most of Monday and Tuesday.

It’s amazing what a sick little fellow can sleep through.  Take, for example, his little brother playing in a plastic bucket and cackling just  few feet away from him.

(Please pardon the boxes and plastic bins.  My clean-up and organizing efforts are stalled at the moment.  I’m on the lookout for more attractive ways to store the insane amount of toys we’ve accumulated in 4 years.  I should probably throw everything out and just keep the bucket and a cardboard box since those are the two things these boys think are the most fun things in the world.)

I think Tater Tot is on the mend, and I’m sure he’ll be up and running at warp speed in no time.  And I’ll let you know if Small Fry decides to come out of the bucket anytime soon.

Bless his sweet little heart! It’s so cute at that age…and yet so ugly when you get to be my age! I mean really…adults look AWFUL when they are sick. Kids + pathetic looking = CUTE.

And Small Fry….ha! Let’s see….plastic bucket or big, bad TRUCK?! I think I’ll go with the bucket!

Fell better Tater Tot! Nothing is worse than being sick in the summer when all you want to do is run around outside and play!
